Service was nice and kind, rooms great, very modern. Very calm area during the night. Meals tasty and a little extraordinary, but took a while. Prices rather high for the region but clearly a recommendation.

A restaurant with a little higher self-claimed standard in this small town and it was not disappointing. Friendly service and good solid food. Reservations recommended. Nice atmosphere (outdoor seating).

The "comfort" room was more than comfortable - it includes a sauna! The restaurant is outstanding with a selection of Nordic and World Franconian dishes.

Nestled on the outskirts of Nuremberg, in the quiet town of Wolframs-Escenbach, lies a restaurant like no other...a jewel named Alte Vogtei. Although officially listed as a hotel, this place also houses a restaurant, which offers a range of tasty dishes that not only surprised me but left me smiling and wanting more. Expect larger than normal portions, perfect steaks, homemade spätzle and delicious sauces, all at fair prices. The wine, beer and dessert were notably very satisfying as well. The staff, very professional. I can't find anything negative to say and recommend this restaurant extremely highly!
