Frank Schürmann always takes care of the tasks really quickly and is very nice to everyone. My experiences with him have always been positive.

My mother had to change nursing homes due to her tendency to wander. She has now been living in the Dorothee-Sölle-Haus for almost half a year. She is lovingly cared for and feels comfortable. She can walk to her heart's content, even in the garden, and enjoys the company in the living group.

I spontaneously looked for a short-term care place for my father and found one here based on a recommendation. The staff, from social services to nursing, were very friendly, very helpful, and always very warm-hearted. Interacting with them was very pleasant, and the staff in the nursing area thought outside the box and took great care of my father, especially regarding the pressure sore treatment he brought from the hospital. He was regularly repositioned and received wound care. Even though the stress was high and the topic could be sad, everyone here always had an open ear, kind words, and a smile to spare. I give a clear recommendation, and my father was very satisfied as well.

Like for many families, the move of my father to a nursing home was a long-considered, difficult step for us as well. We were all the more relieved that he felt very comfortable in the Dorothee-Sölle-Haus from the very first day. Absolute overwhelm of the staff and the home management. Personal items are constantly "disappearing." If you want to buy something for your loved one (even if it's just new slippers), assume that someone else will also find those things useful soon. Don't be surprised if it's standard for your relatives to be injured from time to time by other residents (e.g., half-bitten ears - no joke). Don’t expect any improvement. Check carefully if you want to place your loved ones here.
