Rip-off! My grandma was in a nursing home for half a year until March 2025. Now we're supposed to pay a considerable amount because there was a pay increase for nursing staff in the summer of 2024. The "bill" (back payment) came after my grandma had already passed away more than four months ago. Now we're supposed to pay for summer 2024 - March 2025! This is not only disrespectful but also outrageous. Why should a customer pay something extra because a pay increase was made at some point? Is this legal? I also wonder if the nursing staff even sees any of the money/pay adjustment afterward?! Yes, good care costs money, but there's another bill in three months? That's just sad. Somehow, the whole thing has a strange aftertaste, and as a "customer," you feel like you've been taken for a ride. Therefore, I don't recommend it! We may have to take legal action. Perhaps there are more relatives affected by this.

A great place for treating health problems. Exemplary service and outstanding specialists.

This company is not at all family-friendly; in fact, it hates employees with children. Those who aren't vaccinated are harassed by management and banned from other departments. Many are incompetent and not specialists in their field. It's a disgrace... Anyone looking for a job there should definitely stay away, especially if they have children. 😔

It used to be the best hospital in the city, the doctors were great, the food was delicious (they used to cook it themselves). Unfortunately, since they merged with Bethel, Johannisstift has declined significantly. There's no regular doctor; it's always a different one. The food has gotten worse since Bethel took over, and that's a shame.
