Opening Hours and Prices at Gadderbaum Outdoor Pool

When it comes to opening hours, it is worth checking the current status, as the Gadderbaum outdoor pool operates seasonally and is partly weather-dependent. The official pages state that during the summer holidays, the pool is open Monday to Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The support association's page additionally displays regular hours of Monday to Friday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on weekends from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. This is exactly why the pool is a typical destination for users specifically searching for opening hours and wanting to avoid surprises at the cash register. For price inquiries, the information is even clearer: The day ticket costs 5.50 euros, the reduced day ticket 3.00 euros, and the evening rate 3.50 euros, which is valid 60 minutes before closing. The family ticket is priced at 14.00 euros. Those who wish to use the pool more frequently will find the meinSommer seasonal ticket for adults at 135.00 euros, reduced for 70.00 euros, and for families at 300.00 euros. Additionally, there is a reduced 3-month ticket for 50.00 euros. Reduced rates apply, among others, to children and teenagers under 18 years, students, volunteers in the federal voluntary service, severely disabled persons with a degree of disability of at least 50, as well as holders of the Bielefeld Pass and engagement card. Free entry is granted to children under 4 years accompanied by a suitable supervisor and officially recognized companions of the severely disabled. For inquiries regarding entry, prices, and seasonal tickets, this is a very transparent structure, as it immediately shows which rate fits which usage profile: spontaneous day visit, short after-work visit, family outing, or regular summer use. Membership, Annual Ticket, and Support Association

The Gadderbaum outdoor pool is more than just an ordinary bathing place, as it is supported by voluntary engagement as a support association pool. Those searching for outdoor pool Gadderbaum membership, outdoor pool Gadderbaum annual ticket, or outdoor pool Gadderbaum support association are often looking for a way to use the pool regularly while also supporting its preservation. This is exactly where the membership card of the support association comes into play: it allows free entry to all outdoor pools where the support association is active, and depending on the offer, also participation in early and late swimming. The support association's website lists annual contributions, for example, for families, single parents, adults, and reduced rates. This is not only practical but also a strong signal for community bonding: the pool should not just be consumed but supported. Interestingly, there is also a thematic closeness between membership and seasonal ticket. When users enter annual ticket or seasonal ticket in the search field, they often aim for a permanent or at least summer-long use. In the case of the Gadderbaum outdoor pool, there are two logical answers: the membership card of the support association and the seasonal card meinSommer. Both solutions target different groups but follow the same thought, namely to create reliable access for a summer long. Additionally, the support association offers courses and aqua fitness, ensuring that the pool remains not only a place for swimming but also a place of activity and community. Therefore, those who want to visit the pool not just once but many times will find a model here that is economically sensible and also ideologically well-founded. Directions, Parking, and Bus Connections at Holschebruch

For visitors searching for outdoor pool Gadderbaum directions or outdoor pool Gadderbaum parking, the practical routes are surprisingly well described. The address is Holschebruch 7, 33617 Bielefeld, and the official website directly points to bus stops such as An der Rehwiese with line 42 and Pella-Friedhof with line 23; from there, a walking distance of about 6 minutes is mentioned. This makes the pool interesting for guests arriving without a car who still need a clear orientation quickly. At the same time, the parking options are intentionally friendly: free parking spaces are available near the outdoor pool. Bethel also mentions additional specific parking spaces, such as at the Kerschensteiner vocational college, at the snack bar at the roundabout, at the roundabout Quellenhofweg, and at Meyer Menü. Especially during events or on hot summer days, this mix of pool parking and additional alternative spaces is a real advantage. Those interested in public transport will also find the note on the Bielefeld pages to check current connections via moBiel and the YOU app. This is especially practical for families, teenagers, or guests who want to combine their swimming with a city stroll or a visit to Bethel. For search queries like outdoor pool Gadderbaum in Holschebruch Bielefeld-Bethel or outdoor pool Gadderbaum Bielefeld opening hours, it is important: the location is not hidden but well embedded in a network of stops, paths, and parking options. Even though the pool seems nature-oriented and quiet, the access is therefore very practical for everyday life. Those who arrive early benefit from short distances; those who arrive later can use alternative parking spaces. This keeps the journey uncomplicated and suitable for a pool that consciously focuses on relaxation rather than hustle. ([freibad-gadderbaum.com](https://www.freibad-gadderbaum.com/))

Pools, Slide, and Sports Offers for Families and Swimmers

The thematic heart of the Gadderbaum outdoor pool clearly lies in the water area, and that is why it is relevant for search terms like outdoor pool Gadderbaum slide, outdoor pool Gadderbaum children's pool, or outdoor pool Gadderbaum photos. The official overview mentions a 25-meter swimming pool, a separate diving pool with 1-, 3-, and 5-meter diving boards, a multi-purpose and non-swimmer area with around 740 square meters of water surface, a non-swimmer area with a triple slide, a separate area for toddlers and a splash zone, a large climbing wall, and a beach volleyball court. This way, the pool covers several types of use: swimming lanes, diving, sliding, splashing, climbing, and playing outside. The Bielefelder Bäder page adds that the pool is aimed at people who swim sportily, enjoy being outdoors, and appreciate a relaxed atmosphere. Additionally, there is a large sunbathing lawn that offers sunny and shady areas, making summer stays manageable. The water temperature is also not random but is solar-heated and, depending on the weather, is around 21 to 24 degrees. For guests who are planning not just a quick swim visit but a complete summer day, this is an important detail. Those looking for the best spots think less about a complicated seating plan in the case of Gadderbaum and more about good visibility of the pools, short distances to the lawn, and proximity to the kiosk, climbing wall, or children's area. This makes the pool appear clear and versatile at the same time. This mix is a strong argument for families, athletes, and anyone looking for a quiet outdoor pool with real leisure options. Accessibility, Wi-Fi, and Practical Amenities in Everyday Life

A major advantage of the Gadderbaum outdoor pool is its practical amenities, which make the visit significantly easier. The official about us page explicitly mentions accessibility, bike parking, a separate area for toddlers, a beach volleyball court, a climbing wall, an outdoor pool kiosk with snack offerings, free parking, and free Wi-Fi. For many users, these details are crucial as they show whether a pool not only looks nice but also functions well in everyday life. Accessibility is not just a buzzword but is concretely described: from the pool entrance to the non-swimmer pool, there is a barrier-free access via ramps, even into the non-swimmer pool, and from there the swimmer pool is accessible without further barriers. Upon request, a water wheelchair is available from the swimming master. Additionally, a blind guidance system with tactile paving provides orientation. For inquiries like outdoor pool Gadderbaum barrier-free, this is a very strong signal as it makes the visit planable for different needs. The rest of the infrastructure is also sensibly composed: those arriving by bike can secure it at the bike parking, those needing a break can use the kiosk, and those traveling with children will find a separate area for the little ones. The overall picture is that of a pool that impresses with small but important comfort points. Especially in summer, such details make the difference between a nice outing and a completely relaxed pool day. The Gadderbaum outdoor pool shows that a support association pool does not have to appear improvised but can present itself very professionally through clear organization, voluntary support, and good amenities. History, Community Bonding, and Special Impressions

Those searching for outdoor pool Gadderbaum photos or the history of the pool will find a facility with visible development and strong community bonding. The historical page of the support association documents, among other things, the start of construction on 04.11.2014, marking a phase in which the pool was remodeled and newly documented. The same page also makes it clear how strongly the outdoor pool is supported by the active community: even the address is directed directly at swimmers, sunbathers, and climbing wall fans, conveying exactly the mix of closeness and identity that characterizes a support association pool. The current website also shows images from the daily life of the pool and from the remodeling phases, which provides real added value for those searching for photos. At the same time, the content remains lively: current information, event notices, and membership hints are repeatedly displayed on the homepage and the Bielefelder Bäder pages. This creates not just a static profile but a pool with ongoing care and strong local presence. The location in the smallest Bielefeld district and the quiet, green surroundings also shape the character. The outdoor pool is therefore not just an address for swimming but a meeting point where summer, neighborhood, and movement come together. This is exactly why it is interesting for many users who are not simply looking for any outdoor pool but a place with history, continuity, and a clear signature. The combination of a modernized facility, voluntary support, family offerings, and a nature-oriented environment makes the Gadderbaum outdoor pool a location that has a firm place in Bielefeld and repeatedly appears in searches for opening hours, prices, images, and membership. The place was cozy, it offers diving platforms at three levels. I jumped from 2.60 meters and I suggest you, as an overweight person, not to do it. I see the bruises 😁. It also had a wall climbing facility, it was fun. The water wasn't clean enough, my skin got sticky after swimming.
