This fire bowl has been what was left over from the Easter bonfire for the last two or three years. If you're already involving the fire department, I would expect something more dramatic. It may be a pagan custom, but it has been Christianized. Precisely for that reason, you shouldn't start with "that's enough." I often have this small fire in my garden on weekends.
