Directions, Public Transport, and Parking at Jüngststraße
For the keyword combinations “Haltestulle eG Bielefeld,” “Haltestulle eG menu,” “Haltestulle eG directions,” and “Haltestulle eG parking,” the location's position is a central advantage. This is an important practical note because the venue is situated in a central urban environment, making it suitable for both everyday visits and trips from other districts. The address is easy to remember as it directly refers to the intersection. For orientation, it is also helpful that the surroundings are clearly situated in the context of the Bielefeld district with Landgericht and Rohrteichstraße. This type of location description is usually more valuable to users than an abstract route description, as it immediately shows how the visit will unfold on-site. ([bielefeld.de](https://www.bielefeld.de/ortskundich/eintrag/haltestulle-eg))
There are also reliable indications for parking from local sources. A nearby description of an adjacent location explicitly mentions public parking options nearby and cites a parking meter at the corner of Rohrteichstraße/Jüngststraße. Additionally, an official document from the city of Bielefeld assigns Jüngststraße and Rohrteichstraße to the resident parking area Landgericht. For guests, this means in everyday life: parking is generally possible in the vicinity, but one should pay attention to signage, resident parking regulations, and the respective parking times. Particularly in central neighborhoods, it may be sensible to arrive with a bit of buffer time or to rely on the tram. Since Haltestulle eG is consciously anchored in the urban fabric as a neighborhood café, shop, and cultural venue, the public transport connection fits very well with the usage concept. The address at the corner of Rohrteichstraße/Jüngststraße is therefore not just a location factor but part of its identity: right in the neighborhood, close to the transport network, and still clearly perceived as a community place. ([frauennotruf-bielefeld.de](https://www.frauennotruf-bielefeld.de/en/where-to-find-us/))

Photos, Atmosphere, and Neighborhood Feel
Those searching for “Haltestulle eG photos” typically want to see not just the building but primarily to understand the atmosphere. This is where the official website already provides strong hints. Haltestulle describes itself as a cooperative cultural café with changing exhibitions and views from large windows onto the favorite neighborhood or friendly faces. This formulation is very important for the perception of the place because it shows that the café is not merely a transit station but is designed as a space to linger. Additionally, the homepage features images and an Instagram hint, allowing interested parties to find visual impressions directly on the website and through the linked social media channels. For the search intent “photos,” this means: Haltestulle eG presents itself visibly, warmly, and locally anchored, not sterile or interchangeable. ([haltestulle.de](https://www.haltestulle.de/))
The atmosphere is also evident through its own language. On the homepage, the project refers to itself as “the neighborhood living room.” This term already indicates what kind of experience visitors can expect: a place that is cozy, open, and operates on a neighborly basis. The description also states that a colorful and neighborly planning team met voluntarily and that the project was developed as a neighborhood initiative. This foundation continues to shape the appearance today. Thus, when viewing photos, one sees not just tables, cups, and cakes, but a developed concept with a social and cultural core. The interplay of regional products, organic offerings, exhibitions, and shop space also contributes to the visual profile. The shop at the front sells regional products, organic cheese, Sekko, roasted coffee, and seasonal items, which further enlivens the space and gives it the character of a true neighborhood place. ([haltestulle.de](https://www.haltestulle.de/))
It is also interesting that Haltestulle eG presents itself not only as a café but also as a cultural venue. Changing exhibitions, information evenings, readings, and workshops are explicitly mentioned on the history page, and the website shows events like game nights, Easter brunch, or evening gastronomy with concerts. This means: the visual impression is not static but changes with events, seasonal offerings, and neighborhood activities. For seekers looking for a friendly, lively, and authentic place in Bielefeld, this is a significant advantage. The café does not feel like an isolated gastronomic space but rather like a meeting point with constant life. This combination of visual openness, cultural reference, and culinary offerings makes Haltestulle eG photogenic and credible at the same time. Those researching with the term “photos” often seek the feeling behind the place; Haltestulle delivers this feeling very clearly through its language and appearance. ([haltestulle.de](https://www.haltestulle.de/))
History, Cooperative, and Events after Change of Ownership
The search for “Haltestulle eG after owner” leads to an exciting history that goes far beyond a normal café opening. The official history page explains that with the closure of the Voss bakery due to the passing of master confectioner Voss, a piece of traditional baking craftsmanship and an everyday meeting point in the neighborhood Mitte-Ost was lost. At the end of 2021, a resident planning group formed to renovate and repurpose the premises. This development is central to the identity of Haltestulle eG, as it shows that today’s café arose from a local need and was not created as a random investment project. Since August 2022, the project has held the status of a registered cooperative, and the store opened in early February 2023. Thus, Haltestulle eG is a relatively young but deeply rooted example of community-organized neighborhood culture. ([haltestulle.de](https://www.haltestulle.de/geschichte/))
The cooperative structure is not just formal but shapes everyday life. The website describes that a full-time store and team management, along with numerous employed and volunteer “Stulled” individuals, organize daily operations. On the support page, it states that members have laid a foundation with their cooperative shares, financing planning, (construction) work, marketing, equipment, as well as the first month’s rents and salaries from these shares, sponsorship packages, and a loan from a cooperative savings bank. Becoming a member requires a minimum business share of 100 euros, and one receives a neighborhood card with a three percent discount on every purchase. This is a clear commitment to community financing and co-design. At the same time, according to its own representation, Haltestulle eG is more focused on the common good than on profit distribution. For seekers looking for an authentic, cooperative, and sustainable gastronomy project in Bielefeld, this is a strong signal. ([haltestulle.de](https://www.haltestulle.de/unterstuetzen/))
The event offerings are also closely tied to this community thought. On the “Your Event” page, Haltestulle eG lists possible formats such as birthdays, book readings, lectures, memorial services, conferences, and corporate events. Additionally, there are group reservations in the café for a maximum of 15 people, closed events with separate rental, and the rentable baking office as a former bakery. There is space for workshops, tastings, small readings, neighborhood, and creative offers. This flexibility makes the venue particularly attractive for people who want to create something rather than just consume. Regular program points like wine & tapas, waffle day, or running meetups show that Haltestulle eG is understood as a lively meeting point. The connection of gastronomy and social space is a clear differentiating factor compared to classic cafés. So, for those seeking a venue with history, stance, and real depth of use, Haltestulle eG offers a very characterful place. ([haltestulle.de](https://www.haltestulle.de/dein-event/))
For the term “after owner,” it is also important that Haltestulle eG consciously does not present itself as a single business with one single boss or owner but as a cooperative. This means that the identity of the place is carried by multiple shoulders, and member participation is part of the concept. In a time when many users are looking for authentic, local, and sustainable places, this is a strong unique selling point. Haltestulle eG stands for the reclamation of a neighborhood place that has been revitalized through collective engagement. This is not just a nice story but also SEO-relevant, as search intents like “Bielefeld,” “menu,” “map,” “photos,” “event,” and “after owner” converge here in a single, coherent local profile. Thus, those visiting Haltestulle experience not only breakfast and coffee but also a piece of bottom-up urban development. ([haltestulle.de](https://www.haltestulle.de/geschichte/))
Who Haltestulle eG is Particularly Worthwhile For
Haltestulle eG is particularly interesting for people who expect more from a café visit than just a drink. With a clear focus on organic, regional, vegetarian, and vegan offerings, the place is suitable for conscious connoisseurs as well as families, neighborhood groups, solo visitors, or small teams. The official location entry from the city of Bielefeld confirms the vegetarian-vegan and predominantly organic orientation as well as the barrier-free access. At the same time, the website shows that breakfast, lunch, cakes, sandwiches, and specialty coffee all play a role here. This makes Haltestulle eG a very versatile address for the whole day. Those looking for a café in the morning, something light to eat at noon, or planning a piece of cake in the afternoon will find suitable options here. Conversely, those looking for a place for conversations, small cultural formats, or a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere will also find it. ([bielefeld.de](https://www.bielefeld.de/ortskundich/eintrag/haltestulle-eg))
Haltestulle eG is also particularly well-suited for guests who want to consciously support sustainable gastronomy. On the website, it is described as a partner business for “sustainable destinations” in the region, and the menu consistently focuses on organic, regional, ethically traded coffee, and transparent supply chains. This stance is not just a marketing detail but part of the entire concept. The membership structure as a cooperative also emphasizes that here, the focus is not on short-term maximization but on long-term benefits for the neighborhood. For visitors interested in local initiatives, communal forms of economy, or urban sustainability, this is a strong argument. Therefore, Haltestulle eG is much more than a café with a nice menu: it is a visible example of how neighborhood, gastronomy, and culture can come together in Bielefeld. ([haltestulle.de](https://www.haltestulle.de/))
As an event location, Haltestulle eG is also very suitable for a specific target group: for small, personal formats, for book readings, workshops, neighborhood meetings, or private celebrations with a manageable number of guests. The premises are flexible enough to cover various occasions without losing their cozy character. This makes them attractive for people who are not looking for a large hall or an anonymous event center but for a place with soul. Combined with the strong search profile “Haltestulle eG Bielefeld,” “Haltestulle eG menu,” “Haltestulle eG photos,” and “Haltestulle eG menu,” a very clear picture emerges: Haltestulle is a modern, sustainable, and locally anchored meeting point with a strong offering and an unusually warm story. Those looking for something genuine, communal, and solidly culinary in Bielefeld should definitely keep this place in mind. ([haltestulle.de](https://www.haltestulle.de/dein-event/))

According to the menu, the milk comes as regional organic milk from Gut Wilhelmsdorf; alternatively, there is a barista oat drink at no extra charge. This is a strong argument for many visitors, as not only taste but also origin and ethics play a role. Alongside classics like espresso, cappuccino, latte macchiato, americano, or iced latte, there are also seasonal variations like pumpkin latte, moccacino, nougat cappu, or chai latte. Additionally, there is cocoa made from ethically sourced and traded Colombian chocolate. So, those searching for “Haltestulle eG menu” or “Haltestulle eG breakfast” will not find a standard café, but a consciously curated offering with regional and sustainable components. This aligns with the official self-image as a partner business for “sustainable destinations” in the region, further positioning Haltestulle eG as a conscious address for sustainable gastronomy. ([haltestulle.de](https://www.haltestulle.de/))
Another important detail for SEO analysis is the variety of breakfast and snack offerings. Particularly interesting is that the menu accommodates both classic and alternative dietary preferences: vegetarian, vegan, and organic are not just add-ons but part of the core orientation. The official location entry from the city of Bielefeld complements the picture with additional facts: it describes Haltestulle as fresh regional organic baked goods, topped sandwiches and rolls, breakfast, lunch, homemade cakes and pastries, specialty coffee, organic cheese, wine, and salads made in-house. It is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Fridays until 9:00 PM, and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Wednesdays are a day off. These times make it clear that Haltestulle eG is intended for both early breakfast visits and longer evening appointments on Fridays. Particularly, Friday stands out with the wine evening until 9:00 PM, giving the café an additional social and culinary function. For visitors, this is practical because they can experience the venue very differently depending on the time of day: in the morning as a breakfast place, at noon as a bistro, and in the evening as a meeting point with cultural or wine character. The official contact section also lists the address Jüngststraße 2 / Corner of Rohrteichstraße in 33602 Bielefeld, as well as the phone number 0521 32929219 and the email address info@haltestulle.de. However, the website explicitly emphasizes personal contact. Additionally, there are special arrangements for groups and celebrations. On the “Your Event” page, it states that birthdays, book readings, lectures, memorial services, conferences, or corporate events are possible at Haltestulle. For group reservations in the café, the operation remains open, special offers can be arranged, and the maximum group size is 15 people.
([frauennotruf-bielefeld.de](https://www.frauennotruf-bielefeld.de/en/where-to-find-us/))
Another practical plus is the barrier-free access. Combined with the public transport connection and reachable parking options, a very practical overall picture emerges. Those looking for a venue that is easy to reach yet possesses an individual character will find it here. This is particularly important for breakfast visits, meetings with friends, small workgroups, or neighborhood gatherings. Haltestulle eG is not isolated but open in the neighborhood, and that is part of its concept. It should be approachable, accessible, and visible as a place for the surrounding area. Search queries like “Haltestulle eG menu” or “Haltestulle eG Bielefeld” are therefore not only answered with an address but with a genuine orientation offer for the on-site visit. ([bielefeld.de](https://www.bielefeld.de/ortskundich/eintrag/haltestulle-eg))
Lovely atmosphere and kind staff. Very laid back. The prices are quite steep IMO and I don’t like places that differentiate between dine in and dine out price wise. Brekkie options are good but also quite expensive IMO - the cake choices are nice and coffee is good!

Cozy little cafè with outside seating, loved eclectic design and local art. Capuccino was a little too milky for my liking, double shot next time.

It was okay, although the price for breakfast was overpriced, even though it was organic. Despite having enough staff, things didn't run smoothly. I think the project itself is great (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️). However, it could be improved overall. I know the cakes and pastries are much better.

The staff at Haltestulle are incredibly friendly and relaxed. Even when it's busy, we always received our food and drinks quickly. The food is delicious, and there are always several vegan options available, including at the "tick-the-box" breakfast, which is fantastic. The matcha here is also excellent, and I highly recommend the waffles. The carrot cake is divine. And something that should really be standard in all cafes: free tap water. It's great that you offer that. For me, Haltestulle is a real asset to the neighborhood!
