Bodo Wartke brings Bielefeld to the Wonder Point

When language suddenly dances, the piano rhymes along, and a tongue twister escalates faster than a grumpy printer, Bodo Wartke takes the stage. On October 13, 2026, the piano cabaret artist will perform his seventh program Wonder Point at the Stadthalle Bielefeld.

Word Acrobatics with Musical Polish

Wartke combines fine linguistic wit, surprising rhyme culture, and virtuosic piano playing into a unique music cabaret. His punchlines are not coincidental: precise timing, rhythmic speech delivery, and a strong stage presence transform everyday situations into small comedic works of art.

From Printer Problems to Tongue Twister Slams

In Wonder Point, technical identity crises, sleepy trains of thought, and beloved children's rhymes gain a completely new altitude. Wartke develops tongue twisters into poems and anarchic short stories, which he raps and sends through different musical genres with piano or cajón. The result: Rhythm 'n' Poetry with cabaret sharpness and surprisingly high laughter risk.

Lightness Meets Social Perspective

The comedy atmosphere remains playful, yet beneath the surface works a keen observer. Wartke targets unhealthy behavior patterns, misogyny, and the radical interpretation of religious dogmas. Classical music, love hits from the eighties, and twelve-tone music also receive their own comedic twist. Between laughter and reflective moments, a varied laughter experience is created.

An Artist Between Cabaret, Concert, and Theater

Bodo Wartke has been on stage for over 25 years and has developed seven piano cabaret programs as a solo artist. His self-written songs combine wit, rhyme technique, and musical virtuosity. He became well known also for his tongue twister performances, including the viral success surrounding Barbaras Rhabarberbar. Specialized media praise his intelligent entertainment and his ability to use language as both content and musical material.

Conclusion: An Evening for Ears, Mind, and Laughter Muscles

Visitors can expect a punchline-rich evening of piano cabaret, wordplay, musical precision, and surprising perspective shifts. Those who experience how Bodo Wartke builds a complete stage number from a single word will leave the Stadthalle guaranteed with sharpened ears and a broad grin. This laughter experience belongs live on stage.
