Roast Slam in Bielefeld: When punchlines fly sharper than darts

On October 29, 2026, the Irish Pub Bielefeld transforms into a stage for stand-up comedy, roast battles, and a real weighty audience decision. In the Roast Slam, five comedians compete against each other – with new jokes, biting retorts, and the clear goal of winning the title of Best Roaster 2027.

Five comedians, one finale, no grace period

No joke stays warm for long here: The artists present their strongest punchlines and subsequently take jabs at each other. The audience decides who advances to the next round. This turns a comedy show into an interactive tournament, where every audience reaction counts.

Stand-up meets roast battle

The Roast Slam combines classic stand-up with the direct energy of a roast battle. Precise timing, quick reactions, and a healthy dose of stage presence define the evening. Amid laughter, spontaneous retorts, and surprising twists, a comedy atmosphere emerges that no standard evening program provides.

Irish pub atmosphere with a comedy factor

The Irish Pub Bielefeld offers the perfect setting for this laughter experience: a dense audience, sociable pub atmosphere, and a stage where punchlines hit the crowd directly. The Comedy Club OWL regularly brings in different artists and fresh programs to this venue.

The audience sits in the jury

Those who merely watch are gravely mistaken. At the Roast Slam, the audience helps decide which comedian takes the next step towards the finale. Every reaction in the room becomes significant – from hearty laughter to incredulous gasps after a particularly sharp punchline.

Conclusion: A comedy tournament for fans of sharp punchlines

Visitors can expect an energetic evening with stand-up comedy, roast battles, interaction, and genuine competitive pressure. Those who wish not just to consume comedy but to influence the outcome will experience a unique live format at the Irish Pub Bielefeld. Secure tickets, cheer for your favorite roaster, and see who lands the hardest punchline in the end.
