Serdar Somuncu returns as HASSIAS to Bielefeld

When Serdar Somuncu takes the stage, the comfort zone is better left at home. On October 5, 2026, the cabaret artist will perform his program HASSIAS – He is back. And he still hates you at the Stadthalle Bielefeld. The audience can expect a biting laughter experience between stand-up, political satire, and unrelenting social observation.

A comedy atmosphere with sharp edges

Somuncu stands for humor that does not politely knock but rather marches right through the door. As the self-proclaimed leader of the fictional faith community HASSIAS, he combines punchlines, provocation, and cabaret analysis into a stage show with its own tone. His timing thrives on the balance between precise focus, furious energy, and surprising leaps of thought.

Satire between confrontation and liberation

Since his satirical readings and his long-standing work as a cabaret artist, author, director, and actor, Serdar Somuncu has been one of the distinctive voices in the German comedy scene. His stage art relies on interaction, friction, and the courage not to soften uncomfortable topics. HASSIAS takes this attitude into a new show world: humorous, direct, and guaranteed not for people who need an instruction manual for every punchline.

Audience reaction instead of polite nodding off

At the Stadthalle Bielefeld, Somuncu's stage presence meets an audience eager for darkly humorous satire and pointed social criticism. The result promises laughter, head-shaking, and that brief pause for thought where one realizes that the punchline just hit uncomfortably well. Stage technology and the hall provide the fitting framework for a grand cabaret show.

An evening for fans of biting cabaret

HASSIAS is aimed at comedy fans looking for more than harmless thigh slappers. Somuncu dissects political and societal absurdities, transforms contradictions into punchlines, and brings his role as a provocative stage preacher back with full energy. Those who enjoy satire with attitude, distinctive timing, and a healthy dose of confrontation will find an unusual comedy evening here.

Conclusion: Experience HASSIAS live

Serdar Somuncu promises a show in Bielefeld that does not simply entertain the room but mixes things up considerably. HASSIAS combines cabaret, stand-up, and provocative social satire into a laughter experience with an edge. Anyone wanting to experience Somuncu's uncompromising stage presence live should mark October 5, 2026, on their calendar.
