Family Concert with the NaBuCo Quintet at Assapheum
On Sunday, November 8, 2026, the concert series Classical at 3 invites you to a special family afternoon at Assapheum in Bethel. The NaBuCo Quintet, a mixed ensemble of the Bielefeld Philharmonic, presents a chamber music concert for children, families, and classical music enthusiasts of all ages.
Chamber Music That Creates Proximity
The program combines the transparent sound of small ensembles with the immediate live atmosphere of a concert, where every voice remains audible. Different timbres, precise synchronization, and the subtle transitions between instruments make the orchestration in chamber music form an experience.
Classical Music on Sunday Afternoon
The family concerts at Assapheum focus on a relaxed approach to classical music. The Bielefeld Philharmonic intentionally presents their music in an atmosphere that allows for encounters and also appeals to people who do not regularly visit traditional concert venues. Coffee and cake accompany the afternoon at Assapheum.
A Program for Big and Small Ears
The program features changing chamber music combinations: Including two horns and double bass, as well as viola and double bass. A rhythmically engaging Concertino for flute, viola, and double bass by the Czech composer Erwin Schulhoff sets a distinctive musical highlight. A joint finale rounds off the concert experience.
Barrier-Free Cultural Venue in Bethel
Assapheum is a special, barrier-free event location. The series Classical at 3 is created in cooperation with the Diaconal Community Nazareth and the Bielefeld Philharmonic and opens classical music to a wide-ranging audience. The concert lasts about 90 minutes including a break with drinks and cake.
Conclusion: Experience Classical Music Together Live
