Colin Pütz opens the concert series New Names in Bielefeld
On October 3, 2026, the Schoneberg concert office invites you to the first concert of the New Names series at the Rudolf-Oetker-Halle. In the Small Hall, pianist Colin Pütz will present a classical piano program featuring works by Ludwig van Beethoven and Frédéric Chopin.
Virtuosic Piano Art in the Small Hall
Colin Pütz will shape the evening with Beethoven's Sonata No. 5 in C minor, Op. 10 No. 1, and Sonata No. 21 in C major, Op. 53, the famous Waldstein Sonata. The program will also include Chopin's four ballades – music that navigates between dramatic tension, lyrical intimacy, and pianistic brilliance.
An Evening Between Beethoven and Chopin
The works demand precise articulation, dynamic control, and an expressive stage performance. Beethoven's powerful sonata architecture meets Chopin's finely nuanced sound language. In the concentrated atmosphere of the Small Hall, an immediate concert experience with clear acoustics and intense audience mood is created.
New Names: The Stage for Upcoming Stars
The New Names concert series presents young outstanding performers and gives them a stage in the Rudolf-Oetker-Halle. Colin Pütz will be at the center of the first evening of the new season on October 3, 2026. His program connects central works of piano literature with musical depth and technical sovereignty.
