Young talents make the Rudolf-Oetker-Halle resonate
On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the Small Hall of the Rudolf-Oetker-Halle in Bielefeld will be transformed into a stage for musical and dance talents. At the concert of the Talent Academy OWL, students from the Talent Academy and the Junior Student Institute of the Detmold University of Music will present a diverse program from various genres.
Diversity with energy and stage presence
From finely tuned instrumental contributions to expressive dance performances, the evening showcases the wide range of young artists. Different timbres, changing line-ups, and a lively stage performance provide a varied concert experience with a personal touch.
Support for the next generation
Since 2022, the Talent Academy OWL has been bringing together the support of committed and culture-loving students in the Detmold district. Involved are public music schools from OWL as well as music universities and colleges. The Academy supports young people aspiring to pursue a music or dance degree with workshops, ensemble and orchestra projects, music theory, and career counseling.
Live atmosphere in the Small Hall
The Small Hall of the Rudolf-Oetker-Halle provides young musicians and dancers with a focused setting for their stage performance. The proximity to the audience makes musical details, rhythmic synchronization, and the excitement of each performance immediately tangible.
Entrance free and open to all
Doors open at 5:30 PM, and the concert starts at 6:00 PM. Admission is free. The approximately one-hour program combines youth support, musical diversity, and the special live atmosphere of a concert evening in Bielefeld.
Anyone who wants to experience young talents from East Westphalia-Lippe up close should not miss this evening. The concert of the Talent Academy OWL impressively shows how much expressiveness, discipline, and joy of playing is present in the next generation.
