Visions of Peace: Music, Images, and Colors for Peace
On Sunday, November 15, 2026, the Light Church St. Meinolf in Bielefeld invites you to the concert "Visions of Peace". From 5 PM, choir music, modern accompaniment, projections, and joint singing connect musical hope with concrete visions for peaceful coexistence.
When Music Takes a Stand
Under the guiding thought "Peace is when ...", the concert consciously focuses on positive future images. Instead of solely telling stories of war and conflicts, the evening emphasizes songs, texts, and musical impulses that encourage courage and incite individual action for peace.
Choral Sounds Meet Modern Stage Performance
On stage are the children's choir from Marienschule led by Rebecca Möller, the large mixed choir can carmina led by Stefan Pollpeter, and the music group SingedasLeben. Johanna Allerkamp takes on the singing, Dilara Is plays violin, Rainer Lücking bass guitar, Jürgen Fehren percussion, Asmin Is keyboards, and Johannes Neugebauer singing and guitar.
The concert is supplemented by a music video from Matthias Peschka. Marie-Pascale Gräbener hosts the program and also contributes vocals. The combination of polyphonic choral music, acoustic instruments, moderation, and visual design creates a varied concert experience with a clear peace message.
Singing Together, Thinking Together
The audience is invited to sing along in several songs. Texts, images, and colors are projected onto the concert area and expand the musical dramaturgy with a visual level. Particularly, the song "We Create Peace" by Johannes Neugebauer is among the announced contributions and connects musical statements with the church's special lighting concept.
A Light Church as a Unique Concert Venue
The Light Church St. Meinolf creates a concentrated atmosphere for sound, encounters, and personal reflection with its colorful lighting design. Acoustics, choral voices, and projections combine to create a live atmosphere where not only the stage performance but also the audience's mood become part of the evening.
Conclusion: A Concert with Hope at its Center
"Visions of Peace" promises a musical evening for all people, regardless of confession or religion. Visitors can expect choral singing, band sounds, projections, joint singing, and an invitation to understand peace not just as a wish but as a shared task. Admission is free, and donations for expenses are welcome.
