Psych-Rock-Explosion at the Extra Blues Bar
On October 3, 2026, Portuguese psychedelic rock meets Bielefeld's southern, classic, and punk rock: El Saguaro from Lisbon share the stage with Riahwing. The concert evening merges raw 70s riffs, blues-drenched grooves, and immediate club energy.
El Saguaro: Fuzz, Wah-Wah, and the Spirit of the Golden Rock Era
The power trio El Saguaro with Lucas Hugues on guitar and vocals, André Horta on bass and vocals, and João Ferreira on drums and vocals draws from hard rock and psychedelic rock traditions. Influences from Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Grand Funk Railroad, Black Sabbath, and Led Zeppelin meet wild guitar solos, dynamic rhythm work, and atmospheric passages with Santana influences.
Their debut EP Enthusiecstasy brought the band international attention. Trade media such as Terrascope UK, Doom Charts, and Fox Reviews Rock praised the powerful sound and virtuoso interplay. On stage, this creates a fuzz trip with raw vocals, driving orchestration, and a stage performance that seeks direct contact with the audience.
Riahwing: Heavy Boogie from Bielefeld
As a special guest, Riahwing brings their distinctive southern, classic, and punk rock to the Extra Blues Bar. The Bielefeld band combines blues roots with rock’n’roll, country, and punk. Fat guitar solos, multi-part vocals, and a laid-back yet forward-pushing groove characterize the local support.
Live Atmosphere between Blues Bar and Rock Stage
The Extra Blues Bar at Siekerstraße 20 stands for an immediate concert atmosphere and handcrafted live music. In the intimate club setting, guitar sound, bass pressure, and synchronization of the rhythm group come to the fore particularly directly. The audience experiences the concert evening close to the stage, with short paths between the band and fans and a dense audience mood.
Entry, Start Time, and Tickets
Doors open at 7:30 PM, and the concert begins at 9:00 PM. Admission costs 15 Euros. Hard tickets are available directly at the Extra Blues Bar; reservations can be made via booking@extra-blues.de. Reserved tickets will be held until 8:30 PM on the day of the event.
Conclusion: Two Bands, One Evening Full of Guitar Energy
El Saguaro and Riahwing promise an intense double concert for all who prefer to experience psychedelic rock, classic rock, blues, and southern rock live rather than from a can. Those seeking raw riffs, warm amplifier sounds, and real club proximity should not miss this evening in Bielefeld.
