Florian Paul brings danceable melancholy to Bielefeld
On Saturday, October 24, 2026, Florian Paul & the Chapel of Last Hope will perform at the Movie in Bielefeld. As part of the No Turning Back Album Tour, the band will present their new program blending pop, chanson, and indie – intense, poetic, and full of musical movement.
New songs about change and new beginnings
The album No Turning Back revolves around the question of whether people and societies are bound to their past or can continually reinvent themselves. Florian Paul transforms these grand themes into personal stories about life, love, loneliness, and the fractures of everyday life.
Between chanson, indie, and powerful rock
The band's unique sound opens up new spaces: quiet, touching passages meet powerful dynamics, danceable rhythms, and a theatrical stage performance. Smoky vocals, saxophone, keyboards, bass, and drums blend into a multifaceted orchestration that carries intimate moments as well as grand outbursts.
A band with a musical signature
Florian Paul studied composition for film and media at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. Together with Nils Wrasse, Giuliano Loli, Johannes Rothmoser, and Susi Lotter, he developed a formation that combines chanson, jazz, pop, and rock with narrative precision. Their discography includes titles such as In Between, Built on Sand, and Everything Gets Better.
