Singing together, drawing strength, and experiencing connection
At the integrative choir GutZuHören, singing together becomes an open concert experience for people from different cultural backgrounds. On Friday, October 16, 2026, the event at the Prießallee Meeting Center invites participants to join in singing songs, listening, and creating new encounters.
A musical journey through various cultures
The focus is on songs from different cultural traditions. The voices blend into a harmonious soundscape, where joy, openness, and shared experiences matter more than perfection. The simple musical arrangement provides direct access and allows singing along for various generations and levels of experience.
Live atmosphere with closeness and warmth
GutZuHören emphasizes a personal stage performance instead of distance. Breath, rhythm, and voice become a shared orchestration, where every participation alters the choir's sound. Between songs, there is space for exchange and stimulating conversations.
Singing as food for the soul
The motto Singing is Medicine refers to the unifying power of music. Singing together brings lightness, enhances the audience's mood, and creates moments of pause. As part of the Mental Health Week, this offering combines musical encounter with social participation.
Free entry and barrier-free
The cost contribution is 0 euros. The Prießallee Meeting Center is wheelchair accessible and has accessible restrooms. Thus, the concert is aimed at everyone who wants to experience music communally and make new contacts in Bielefeld.
Conclusion: Your own voice matters
GutZuHören promises not an ordinary choir concert, but an approachable concert experience with a shared voice, cultural diversity, and real encounters. Those wishing to experience the healing and unifying effect of singing live will find an open musical meeting place in Bielefeld on October 16, 2026.
