A voice, a guitar, many stories

Behind the artist name Moe is Moritz Herrmann, a folk singer-songwriter from East Westphalia-Lippe. His music combines an unmistakable voice with gentle guitar sounds and personal lyrics. The songs take the audience on a journey through emotional landscapes, between contemplation, warmth, and quiet hope.

Intimate live atmosphere instead of great distance

The solo format creates space for immediate stage performance and focused sound. Voice and guitar come together in a close musical synchronization, while melody, rhythm, and lyrics unfold their effect without overloaded orchestration. This very closeness characterizes Moe's concerts: an audience atmosphere like an evening among friends, supported by honest stories and authentic folk.

Experience from hundreds of performances

Moe has played over 500 performances in a decade and released two albums as well as numerous EPs and singles. His musical versatility has been highlighted in the regional press. FolkMagazine compared his music to Paul Simon in his early years, while Westfalenblatt described the combination of voice and guitar as a special cozy atmosphere.

Folk, country, and modern singer-songwriter sound

Musically, Moe moves between classic folk, country influences, and contemporary songwriting. Acoustic guitar work, clear melodic direction, and narrative lyrics form the core of his sound. In individual arrangements, traditional song structures merge with modern elements such as distorted guitar sounds and synthesizer pads.

Conclusion: An evening concert with a personal touch

Visitors can expect a focused concert experience with a warm voice, soulful guitar, and handmade songs from the East Westphalian singer-songwriter scene. Those who want to experience folk music live, accessible, and without great distance will find the right evening at the Vilsendorf community center. Admission is free; donations are possible.
