Northern Irish Pub Music with Stephen Rafferty in Bielefeld
On Saturday, November 7, 2026, a true piece of Northern Ireland will move into the old town of Bielefeld: Stephen Rafferty brings authentic Irish music, traditional folk classics, and the unmistakable warmth of a Northern Irish pub to the Leprechaun Irish Pub & Kitchen. Admission is free – the Guinness won't drink itself.
An Evening with True Irish Folk Feel
Stephen Rafferty hails from County Down and is known as the lead singer of the Northern Irish Irish folk band WOLFHOUND. His musical style blends acoustic folk elements with a modern singer-songwriter touch. At the Leprechaun, this stage presence meets cozy pub atmosphere, freshly tapped drinks, and an audience that quickly transitions from listening to singing along to Irish classics.
Live Music, Timing, and Pub Atmosphere
Good Irish music thrives on timing, dynamics, and direct interaction. Between quiet, emotional moments and vigorous folk refrains, an evening concert emerges that doesn't sound like a grand concert arena but rather like the best table in the favorite pub. The audience's reactions are an integral part of the laughter-filled experience of Irish joy: a smile, a sway, and at the latest by the next refrain, the collective realization that no one knows the lyrics completely for sure.
