Comic Adventures in the Museum: Children Create Their Own Picture Story

When characters come to life and an exciting story unfolds from individual images, a unique creative family experience begins. During the autumn holiday games at the Museum Peter August Böckstiegel, children aged 6 to 12 develop their own comic and discover the joy of visual storytelling.

Your Own Characters, Your Own Ideas, Your Own World

Under the guidance of Maria Ferreira-Obenhaus, children invent fun, brave, or mysterious characters. Whether superhero, animal, monster, or fantasy creature: young comic artists decide for themselves who plays the leading role in their story.

Step by Step to Your Own Comic Story

With simple tips and child-friendly methods, participants learn how comics are structured. They develop plots, arrange pictures, and implement their ideas artistically. This creates an age-appropriate learning experience that combines creativity, expressiveness, and structured storytelling.

Experience Art and Create Yourself

The museum becomes an inspiring place for curiosity, wonder, and children's laughter. The focus is on drawing, experimenting, and the joy of storytelling. No prior knowledge is required, so every child, regardless of previous experience, finds their own access to art.

Well Prepared for the Autumn Holidays

The workshop is aimed at children aged 6 to 12 and takes place indoors at the museum. Participation is only possible with prior registration. Free parking is available nearby for families; two disabled parking spaces are located directly at the entrance. Access is via a footpath approximately 200 meters long from the parking lot.

Conclusion: At Boom! Wow! Comic!, children transform their imagination into their own picture world. This creative family experience combines art, learning fun, and quality time in a protected museum environment. Sign up now and enrich your autumn holidays with a self-invented comic story.
