My Picture and I: Art Under the Microscope – Event Cancelled

Curious children between 6 and 12 years old were supposed to examine a work of art in detail at the Peter August Böckstiegel Museum on October 22, 2026. However, the planned workshop My Picture and I – Art Under the Microscope is cancelled.

With Open Eyes Through Art

The focus of the planned family and holiday program was the intensive engagement with a selected work of art. Colors, shapes, figures, and small image stories were to be discovered and questioned together. The children would have developed their own ideas and gained new perspectives on art.

Getting Creative with Colors, Words, and Imagination

A personal work was to emerge from the observations. Drawing, painting, writing, and experimenting would have created a varied learning experience. The age-appropriate approach combined creative freedom with child-friendly art education and enhanced the joy of personal expression.
