Prompt2Play: Digital Ideas Turned into Your Own Games
During the autumn vacation, children and teenagers will discover the creative world of digital games and small applications at Prompt2Play. From October 20 to 22, 2026, a digital co-working station will be created in the city library of Bielefeld, where participants will experiment, develop, and learn together.
Shaping with Language, Ideas, and Artificial Intelligence
The focus is on what is called vibecoding. Using natural language and artificial intelligence, the first digital prototypes will be created. Participants will experience how their own idea grows step by step into a playful project or a small application.
Age-Appropriate Learning Fun During Autumn Vacation
The workshop is aimed at children and teenagers aged 10 to 15 years. The creative approach fosters curiosity, digital understanding, collaborative problem-solving, and confident handling of new technologies. The family experience combines practical experimentation with a modern learning experience.
Developing Together in GamerSpace
Work will take place over three consecutive days from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the GamerSpace on the second floor of the central library. The multi-day setup provides room to further develop ideas, gather experiences, and collaboratively create visible results.
Important Notes for Families
Participation is intended for children and teenagers aged 10 to 15 years. Registration is required. The workshop can only be booked as a multi-day event; individual days cannot be booked separately. The admission fee is 5 euros.
Conclusion: Prompt2Play offers curious young people an extraordinary family and vacation experience filled with children's laughter, fun learning, and digital ideas. Those who want to develop their own games or applications and gain initial experience with artificial intelligence will enjoy three creative afternoons of discoveries in the city library of Bielefeld.
