Autumn Discovery Journey with the Bielefeld Rangers
When the leaves rustle and the forest changes its colors, a special family experience begins in Bielefeld-Sennestadt: Children aged 7 to 12 discover the forest in the changing seasons together with the Bielefeld Rangers. The event series combines children's laughter, movement, and learning fun with exciting observations of animals and plants.
Exploring the Autumn Forest with All Senses
Through activities and games, children actively and child-appropriately explore the forest habitat. They observe the changes in nature, discover typical traces, and learn how animals and plants are adapted to their environment. The autumn learning experience fosters curiosity, perception, and understanding of ecological connections.
Nature Knowledge, Movement, and Cooperative Learning
The Bielefeld Rangers impart age-appropriate environmental knowledge and connect academic content with practical experiences outdoors. This creates a lively learning experience where children ask questions, discover connections, and are on the move as a group. The shared time in the forest promotes attention, independence, and a sense of community.
Well Prepared for the Forest
For a safe family experience, weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes, and clothing that can get dirty are essential equipment. Having enough to drink and a small snack ensures a good break. Depending on the weather, sun and tick protection is also recommended. Parents or guardians may participate as accompanying persons.
An Event Series with Four Seasons
The offer includes four dates and is booked as a single unit. After the spring and summer stations, the focus will be on the forest in autumn on October 16, 2026. The winter event will conclude the series on December 11, 2026. This allows children to experience how the forest changes throughout the year.
Conclusion: Get Outside and Discover the Forest
The ranger event provides children with a varied, educational break in nature. Movement, wonder, and genuine environmental knowledge make for a sustainable family experience in the afternoon. Sign up now and experience the autumn forest live with the Bielefeld Rangers.
