Finch's Dream: A Fairy-Tale Family Experience at the Movement Theater
When the big brother just looks at his phone and the parents are away, Fine gets bored. But from her boredom arises an exciting adventure: In her dream, she dives into a fairy-tale world and receives the great task of saving the world. The Movement Ensemble brings Finch's Dream to Bielefeld as a current children's theater piece for families.
A Dream Full of Fantasy and Excitement
The story connects familiar everyday situations with fairy-tale images. Children experience how an apparently ordinary evening becomes a journey full of wonder, courage, and curiosity. The imaginative plot invites them to develop their own ideas and think together with Fine about important questions.
Child-Friendly Theater with Educational Value
The piece addresses themes that many children know: boredom, digital distractions, independence, and the feeling of being able to make a difference. As a learning experience, the theatrical event strengthens imagination, empathy, and joy in storytelling. The fairy-tale form makes complex thoughts accessible to children in an age-appropriate manner.
Quality Time for the Whole Family
In the audience, children's laughter, excitement, and shared wonder come together. Parents and children discover the story from different perspectives and experience a special cultural evening together. The performance lasts one and a half hours and is suitable as a warm family experience for a Sunday afternoon or early evening.
