Greg's Diary: Interactive Drawing Workshop for Creative Children
Attention, comic fans: In the community library Schildesche, everything is about Greg's Diary. Children aged 8 and up discover together with the illustrator Charlotte Hofmann how funny characters are created and design their own comics and characters. A creative family experience filled with children's laughter, imagination, and lots of fun learning.
From Fan to Comic Artist
How does a character get its own facial expression? What body posture suits a funny scene? In the drawing workshop, participants learn in a child-friendly manner how simple lines turn into lively comic characters. This results in their own ideas, small stories, and personal characters.
Creativity, Expression, and Learning Experience
Drawing enhances the joy of creating and supports an age-appropriate development of observation, concentration, and expressiveness. Children try out different shapes, develop their imagination further, and experience how an idea turns into their own comic step by step.
Quality Time in the Library
The community library Schildesche offers a quiet and inspiring environment for this. Among books, pictures, and creative materials, a special atmosphere is created where curiosity, a sense of community, and joy in storytelling come together. Parents see their children in an active, creative role.
Well Prepared for a Family Experience
The workshop is aimed at children aged 8 and above and will take place indoors. Participation is free, but registration at 0521/51-2454 is required. The accessible entrance and close public transport stops make getting there easier.
