During the autumn holidays, the Art Hall Bielefeld transforms into a creative experience space for children aged 6 to 12 years. In the workshop Holiday Games: Handmade – Sculptures, participants will knead, roll, press, and shape. Using air-drying modeling clay, children create their own artworks – inspired by the sculptures in the park or the limitless imagination of the children.
Thinking and creating with hands
As soft modeling clay slips through their fingers, a special family experience begins: children immediately discover shapes, structures, and proportions. Every ball, every roll, and every imprint becomes a building block of their own figure. This tactile learning experience strengthens perception, fine motor skills, and the joy of independent creation.

The sculptures in the park provide exciting impulses for personal ideas. Children observe, compare, and develop their personal language of forms from this.
