Stories in Winter: Reading Fun for the Whole Family
When the days get shorter outside, the Dornberg branch library opens its doors for a cozy family experience full of children's laughter, imagination, and shared time. At Stories in Winter, children from four years old and their families experience a lovingly designed reading time in a relaxed atmosphere.
Winter Stories, Big Pictures in Your Head
A good story invites wonder, empathy, and further thinking. While stories are read and told, children create their own images in their minds: snowy landscapes, brave characters, and exciting adventures. This strengthens their joy in language and literature and makes reading a warm, communal learning experience.
Age-appropriate and Child-friendly Design
The offering is aimed at children from four years old and their families. The short duration of 45 minutes fits well with the attention span of young listeners. Reading supports language development, expands vocabulary, and promotes concentration, imagination, and exchange between children and adults.
Free Entry and No Registration Required
The reading hour takes place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 11:00 to 11:45 AM. Registration is not required. Admission is free; donations are welcome. Those who enjoy the winter story time can come back on additional Saturdays until December.
A Safe Place for Curious Book Fans
The branch library offers a protected indoor space for a calm and focused family activity. Parents and other caregivers accompany the children during the event and enjoy a decelerated break from everyday life together.
Conclusion: Stories in Winter combines reading fun, child-friendly language promotion, and valuable shared time. Families experience a cozy learning experience filled with imagination, closeness, and wintery atmosphere at the Dornberg branch library. Mark the date and discover the stories live.
