Autumn Workshop in Bielefeld: Creatively Searching for One's Own Balance

From October 26 to 30, 2026, the inclusive autumn workshop "Actually, everything is okay – Stories of Finding Oneself" invites you to the Adult Education Center in Bielefeld. The focus is on creative engagement with uncertainty, change, self-acceptance, and personal experiences.

Between Doubt and Inner Calm

Sometimes life feels overwhelming. Thoughts swirl, decisions remain open, and yet amidst the unrest, a quiet certainty emerges: Actually, everything is okay. The autumn workshop takes this ambivalent experience seriously and opens a protected space for personal stories, artistic expression, and collective reflection.

Words, Colors, Movement, and Sound

Participants explore various forms of creative expression. Writing, painting, designing, movement, and sound become tools to make feelings and thoughts visible. The emphasis is on free experimentation, not perfect technique. Previous experience is not required.

An Inclusive Cultural Experience

As an inclusive theater workshop in collaboration with the Bethel Theater Workshop, the format combines literary impulses, performing arts, and biographical storytelling. One's own voice is given space while collective scenes, images, and stories emerge from individual impressions. Thus, the reading and theater atmosphere becomes an open process in which doubt, courage, joy, and silence may coexist.

Five Evenings for Creative Self-Acceptance

The autumn workshop takes place from Monday, October 26, to Friday, October 30, 2026, each day from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Historical Hall of the Adult Education Center in Bielefeld. The course will be led by Nicole Zielke. Participants are asked to bring drinks and light refreshments.

Conclusion: Stories that Provide Support

Visitors can expect a mindful, creative, and communal experience surrounding the question of how we meet ourselves in times of change. Those looking to discover new forms of storytelling, artistically express personal thoughts, and find more calm and self-acceptance will experience five special workshop evenings in Bielefeld.
