The Poetics of Small Moments: Writing as a Path to New Perspectives
On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, the Knowledge Workshop Bielefeld invites you to a special literary workshop as part of the Mental Health Week and GENIALE 2026. Under the title The Poetics of Small Moments, the event focuses on thoughts, feelings, memories, and hopes that often receive too little space in everyday life.
Literary Writing as Inner Movement
Writing has a quiet but powerful quality: it organizes perceptions, makes feelings visible, and opens up new perspectives. The workshop combines creative language practice with questions of personal well-being. The focus is on those small moments from which individual stories, poetic images, and personal insights develop.
Between Everyday Life, Memory, and Hope
The poetics of the everyday directs attention to details that are easily overlooked in the fast rhythm of life. Thoughts, feelings, and memories are not only captured but also linguistically examined. This creates a protected resonant space where literary forms of expression and mental health interact.
A Workshop for Different Life Phases
The offering is aimed at teenagers, young adults, adults, and older people. The event is wheelchair accessible; this includes barrier-free access, suitable restrooms, and information in easy language. This connects the workshop cultural participation with a low-threshold invitation to creative encounters.
Conclusion: Language that Gives Room to the Essential
Visitors can expect a three-hour literary experience that combines creativity, self-reflection, and mental well-being. Those who want to discover the power of small observations and transform thoughts into language will find in the Knowledge Workshop Bielefeld an inspiring place for a special author encounter with themselves.
