Christmas Bazaar in Stieghorst: Handmade Gift Ideas from the Heart
On Saturday, November 14, 2026, the MakerSpace group of the Stieghorst Community Library invites you to a festive Christmas bazaar in Bielefeld. From 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, visitors will discover lovingly crafted unique pieces, creative gift ideas, and regional handicrafts in a special market atmosphere. Admission is free.
Handmade Unique Pieces from the MakerSpace Group
The focus is on handmade works that are created with time, creativity, and craftsmanship. The offerings range from sewn items to upcycled glass and porcelain to woodwork and other creative surprises. Each piece carries the personal touch of the MakerSpace group and is suitable as an individual Christmas gift or a special decoration for the Advent season.
Upcycling, Sewing, and Woodworking
The Christmas bazaar shows how versatile creative work can be in a community library. New favorite pieces emerge from used materials, while fabrics, glass, porcelain, and wood are carefully transformed by hand. This makes the bazaar a unique shopping experience for everyone who appreciates sustainable gift ideas, small series, and authentic craftsmanship.
Advent Atmosphere with Coffee and Cake
Coffee and cake will be offered for a donation during a cozy break. The proceeds will benefit the Aktion Lichtblicke e. V. Thus, the Christmas bazaar combines browsing, encounters, and social engagement with a warm pre-Christmas atmosphere.
Meeting Point for Creatives and Market Visitors
The Stieghorst Community Library is a meeting point for people who enjoy learning new things, exchanging ideas, and becoming creative themselves. The bazaar builds on the regular MakerSpace meetings, where craft projects, upcycling, and collaborative design are the focus. Therefore, visitors can expect not an anonymous sales booth, but a personal insight into the regional creative scene.
The Christmas bazaar at the Stieghorst Community Library offers handmade unique pieces, sustainable gift ideas, and a pleasant opportunity to herald the Advent season together. Those looking to discover creative craftsmanship and shop with a good feeling should experience this special market live on November 14, 2026.
