Democracy Atelier Sieker: Think, discuss, and participate creatively
On October 31, 2026, the Democracy Atelier Sieker connects social exchange with artistic expression. The painting workshop invites participants to reflect on care and concern, its consequences, and how to deal with crises, engage in conversations, and make their own ideas visible on paper.
Creativity meets social dialogue
From 10 AM to 2 PM, an open space for collective thinking, discussion, and participation will be created. Participants will artistically engage with questions that shape everyday life and coexistence. Colors, forms, and conversations create a special event atmosphere where personal perspectives are just as welcomed as collective reflections.
Concern, care, and crisis management
The focus is on the theme of care and concern – connected with the consequences of societal challenges and possibilities for crisis management. The moderation will be led by Bernd Ackehurst, while the artistic direction is in the hands of Elisabeth Lasche. Thus, the event planning combines professional facilitation with practical creative work.
Materials provided, free participation
The offer is aimed at people who want to actively and creatively work on social issues, not just discuss them. All materials will be provided. Participation is free; a maximum of 15 people are planned. Registration was possible until October 23, 2026, via email at stadtteilkueche@skf-bielefeld.de or by phone at 0175 1150476.
