minds4vibes in Bielefeld: When thoughts become tangible
The interactive offering minds4vibes shows how thoughts can be felt on October 22, 2026, at the Wissenswerkstadt Bielefeld. From 2 PM to 7 PM, visitors will experience how brain activity can be translated into vibrations – an unusual connection of science, technology, and immediate event experience.
Brain activity becomes a physical experience
At minds4vibes, the subject of the brain is not abstract. A specially developed game makes brain activity experienced as vibration on the arm. This creates a sensory encounter with a process that remains invisible in everyday life. Curiosity, surprise, and the audience's mood combine to create an accessible science experience for people with varying prior knowledge.
Science to participate in
This offering is part of the action day SchLaDo Brain within the framework of GENIALE 2026. The Wissenswerkstadt brings together emotion research, brain experiments, art, and other participatory formats on this day. minds4vibes adds a playful approach: thoughts are not only explained but are physically perceivable through a technical application.
A special place for research and encounter
The Wissenswerkstadt Bielefeld sees itself as an open place for science, education, and encounter. In the listed building on Wilhelmstraße, historical architecture meets modern event planning and interactive knowledge transfer. The event management focuses on direct audience engagement and formats that invite trying out, questioning, and joint exploration.
Open offering without registration
minds4vibes is announced as a free, open offering and can be visited without registration between 2 PM and 7 PM. This makes the event suitable for spontaneous visits as well as a program point for an afternoon in the Bielefeld city center.
Conclusion: Thoughts become live experiences
minds4vibes transforms a complex topic into an immediate experience. Those who want to discover science not just by hearing but on their own body will experience an unusual afternoon between brain research, technology, and playful interaction in the Wissenswerkstadt.
