Neighborhood Conference Brackwede: Together shaping diversity and coexistence

Living together needs you: Shaping diversity in Brackwede together

On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, the Bethel meeting center in Brackwede will be the meeting point for exchange, participation, and joint reflection. The 17th neighborhood conference is themed “Living together needs you! – Diversity in Brackwede” and invites people from the neighborhood to engage in conversation with one another.

Brackwede thrives on its diversity

Brackwede is characterized by the cultural, religious, and social diversity of its residents and local actors. It is precisely this mix that makes the neighborhood vibrant and creates topics worthy of open discussion. The neighborhood conference provides space to bring together different perspectives and develop ideas for a good coexistence.

Talk, listen and connect perspectives

The focus is on personal exchange. The event utilizes the method of discussion groups, emphasizing active listening, respectful encounters, and participation on equal footing. The atmosphere is not created by a stage program, but by the voices of the people who shape and contribute to Brackwede.

An established forum for the neighborhood

The neighborhood conference was established to network institutions, associations, and migrant organizations in the area. Its goals include regular exchanges of ideas, shaping integration locally, and jointly developing activities related to the residential area. For many years, it has been an important instrument for organization, participation, and sustainable neighborhood work.

Event experience with direct exchange

The event management focuses on a concentrated evening event with a clear target audience: People who wish to actively experience Brackwede, get involved, or make new contacts in the neighborhood are invited. The atmosphere in the meeting center creates the right framework for conversations, new impulses, and concrete ideas for living together.

Conclusion

The neighborhood conference Brackwede connects social exchange with practical participation. Those who want to not only observe diversity but also shape coexistence in their own neighborhood will find a suitable place for meeting and dialogue on November 3. Registration is required by October 27, 2026.
