From Garden Wish to Lively Natural Garden

How can lawn, terrace, and initial ideas turn into a diverse natural garden? The planning workshop at the educational facility Einschlingen guides participants from the first glance at the property to their personal garden design. The focus is on natural design, biodiversity, and planning that suits individual needs.

Plan, Observe, Design

Short lectures alternate with practical planning phases. It’s about soil, light, and water, diverse habitats, and the sensible arrangement of paths, seating areas, and shrubs. Plants are intentionally introduced later in the process: first, a cohesive overall concept for the respective garden is created.

Your Own Design as a Guiding Thread

The event is aimed at people who want to design their garden step by step to be more natural and biodiverse. Those who bring a scaled property plan and information about light and soil conditions can directly apply the content to their own area. Thus, during the weekend, an individual design evolves as a basis for later implementation.

Expert Knowledge for More Biodiversity

The planning workshop combines event planning, practical garden design, and education for sustainable development. Participants learn how natural gardens create habitats for wild bees, butterflies, and birds, and how various courses of action can be evaluated in terms of biodiversity and climate adaptation. The weekend is accompanied by a stand of the regional group Ravensberger Land of NaturGarten e.V.
