Open Impro Meetup: Stage free for spontaneous theater moments
Improvisational theater is created in the moment – without a fixed script, but with keen attention, joy of playing, and mutual trust. At the Open Impro Meetup in the Green Cube, interested individuals can gain their first experiences with improvised theater on October 11, 2026.
Mindful yes-saying and creative encounters
The focus of the short workshop is on mindful yes-saying: absorbing impulses, continuing ideas, and developing lively scenes from small ideas. Improvisation opens a playful space where spontaneous reactions, presence, and collective storytelling come together.
First scenes, immediate acting
The workshop offers an insight into the basics of improvisational theater. First small scenes arise directly from the moment. This makes theater an immediate stage experience – accessible, surprising, and fueled by the energy of the group.
Theater atmosphere in the Green Cube
The Green Cube at Kesselbrink provides the open framework for this encounter with stage art. Instead of ready-made roles and fixed dramaturgy, the shared process counts: playing attentively, reacting, experimenting, and embracing the creative moment.
The Open Impro Meetup is aimed at people who want to get to know improv theater and want to be active themselves. Registration by email to nina.impro@gmail.com is requested.
Conclusion
Anyone who longs for spontaneous scenes, creative impulses, and a lively theater experience will find an uncomplicated entry into improvisation at the Open Impro Meetup. Stage free for the first step into play.
