Spooky and beautiful musical enjoyment with the Addams Family

On Friday, October 30, 2026, the eccentric Addams Family will move into the Stadthalle Bielefeld. The musical combines dark humor, quirky family moments, and captivating musical music into a spooky beautiful musical comedy show.

A family beyond normality

In their decaying villa near Central Park, the Addams live by their own rules. The famous icy little hand wanders through the front yard, the son practices in the moonlight with his guillotine, and the neighborhood meets the macabre family everyday life with cautious distance. For the Addams, all this is part of the familiar theater atmosphere of their unusual home.

Wednesday caught between love and family chaos

The dramatic tension arises when Wednesday falls in love. Lukas, the son of a very normal family, throws her world out of balance. His mother, of all people, wants to get a sense of the people her son associates with. Thus begins an evening full of contrasts, misunderstandings, and darkly humorous escalations.

Musical, comedy, and quirky charm

The musical is by Marshall Brickman, Rick Elice, and Andrew Lippa and is based on the characters by Charles Addams. Direction, acting, music, and comedic timing come together with a stage design that brings the morbid elegance of the Addams world to life. Between dark looks, tense crossbows, and exaggerated family love, a stage experience unfolds with high entertainment value.

The Stadthalle Bielefeld as the stage for the spectacle

The performance begins at 7:30 PM in the Stadthalle Bielefeld at Willy-Brandt-Platz. The venue can be accessed through the entrance on the train station side. A parking garage is located at the Stadthalle; accessible entrances, elevators, and designated seating are available for people with limited mobility.
