When Aunt König brings the story of the Böckstiegel House to life
On October 17, 2026, the Museum Peter August Böckstiegel opens its doors for a special scenic tour: Aunt König recounts life in the small farmhouse and takes the audience into the family history of the artist Peter August Böckstiegel.
A House Full of Memories
Aunt König, the sister of Peter August Böckstiegel's mother, was particularly close to the artist. In the scenic tour, she recalls the years when she watched her nephew work. Between everyday life, family influences, and artistic development, an immediate discovery experience unfolds around the Böckstiegel House.
A History You Can Touch
The actress Karla Trippel gives Aunt König her own voice and brings the stories of the house into the museum space. Here, acting, local history, and cultural heritage meet. At the center is the question of how the young August could become an artist and what people, places, and experiences shaped his path.
Scenic Tour with Special Intimacy
The one-hour event combines city tour, museum experience, and biographical theater. Visitors experience the artist's house not just as a historical place but as a space of memories where family history and art history intertwine. The scenic design is by Thomas Wolff.
Important Notes About the Event
The tour takes place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Museum Peter August Böckstiegel. The entrance fee is 15 euros. The event is fully booked; a waiting list exists. This offer is supported by the P.A. Böckstiegel Friends' Circle.
