Haunting in the Artist House: With the Flashlight through Böckstiegel's Mysterious World
When on Halloween afternoon the shadows grow longer, a special discovery experience begins for children in the historical artist house of the Peter August Böckstiegel Museum. During the flashlight tour Haunting in the Artist House, young visitors from the age of five, accompanied by an adult, explore an authentic place full of history, art, and mysterious atmosphere.
Shadows, Stories, and Art to Touch
Only the light of the flashlight guides the group through the artist house. The former home and parental house of Peter August Böckstiegel is an authentically preserved historical site that provides an immediate insight into the life and work of the Westphalian expressionist. Among old rooms, familiar objects, and artistic traces, a city and culture tour of a special kind emerges.
Halloween in the Historical Artist House
The tour combines child-friendly knowledge transfer with an exciting atmosphere. The focus is on shadows, stories, and the creative world of the artist. Those who wish can come dressed as a witch, vampire, or pumpkin, making the Halloween experience in the museum even more atmospheric.
A Cultural Experience for Families
The Peter August Böckstiegel Museum is located in Werther-Arrode and combines a modern museum building with the listed artist house. The flashlight tour opens up a playful access to cultural heritage, local history, and art history for children. The tour will be led by Hannah Göhler.
