Spontaneous Stage Moments in the Green Cube

When a scene arises from an impulse and a random idea leads to a whole theater moment, the Open Impro Meet begins in the Green Cube. On Wednesday, November 11, 2026, the group invites you to a play and practice meeting for improvised theater in Bielefeld.

Warm-up, Playfulness, and Surprising Scenes

The evening starts with a common warm-up that prepares the body, voice, and attention for improvisation. Following this, well-known and experimental impro-games are on the agenda. The dramaturgy arises immediately in the space: Each scene develops from the interplay of the participants, from spontaneous decisions and attentive reactions.

Improvisational Theater as Immediate Stage Experience

Central principles of improvised theater are at focus: the principle Yes, and..., a cheerful approach to failure and the ability to respond flexibly to new impulses. Thus, a lively theater atmosphere is created, where no evening is like the other and the audience's reaction shapes the rhythm of the scenes.

For People with Impro Experience

The Impro Meet is aimed at interested individuals who already know the basics of improvised theater, for example through a basic course. The open practice group combines acting skills, movement, presence, and collective storytelling. The Green Cube provides a suitable setting for this in the large room on the first floor.

Conclusion: Theater is Created in the Moment

The Open Impro Meet promises a focused yet playful stage experience for all who want to not only observe improvisation but actively experience it. Those who enjoy spontaneous scenes, creative encounters, and theater without a fixed script will find an inspiring evening at the Green Cube on November 11.
